What size do I need?

We get this question very often! Which binder will be the best fit post op!

So when measuring for the abdominal binder, we suggest you follow these guidelines:

  • Measure the area below the belly button and above the hips. Do not measure your waist.
  • Do not use your pants size to determine sizing. Each designer seems to have a different opinion on sizing! 🙂
  • Take swelling into account! If you are borderline between two sizes size up. If you are ordering an Abdominal Binder you can purchase a second one at a discount. Then you could get both and have them on hand once the swelling resides.

Protect your Investment

We love the Silky Sac for many reasons, but the main one is how it helps to maintain the binders throughout recovery. You put your binder(s) in the Silky Sac before washing, and it’s protected from the harsh spinning and other garments during the cycle. It helps to maintain the quality of the binders, while still getting it clean.

After recovery you can use the Silky Sac to wash your bras and other undergarments! It’s a wonderful product that can be used for many years for many items!
